Here is an example service page, we can include up to four service pages.
We’ve created this template to specifically have separate pages dedicated to one service because Google loves content that is relevant and informative. If you have one page outlining a specific service it will favour your site over a competitor site that doesn’t outline and separate it’s service offerings in a clear or in Google speak ‘targeted’ way.
To really impress Google, you should aim to have at least 300 – 500 words of ‘unique content’ – meaning, you need to write your own content. If you take content from another site on the internet Google will detect this as ‘duplicate content’ and give your site a black mark, meaning it will rank your site lower in the listings.
To further impress Google you should also think about ‘keywords’. Keywords are the phrases that you and your customers type into search engines to find information. For example, if you wanted to find a company specialising in Business Premises to Rent and you live in Nantwich, you would most likely type in ‘Business Premises to rent in Nantwich’. So if you were a Business Premises within the Nantwich area, within your copy you should try and include that phrase. For example ‘Stapeley House offers business premises to rent in Nantwich.’
On this page we can also include:
- a link to a booking form
- such as Event Brite
- your Google calendar
- so your visitors can see your availability or class times and information
- client / customer testimonials
- To reinforce to your potential customers that you provide a quality service and are trusted by others.
You can also include as many images as you’d like too. If you want to show more than one image, we can add more featured images within the main banner at the top, so your visitors can click through each image as a slide show – similar to the main home page banner. Or we can also include images within the body of the text, as shown above.
